Sound Healing

Phylis will lead you all in a deeply immersive, full body listening experience that uses intentionally selected sounds and vibrations to invite balance, relaxation, and restoration to your body and mind. She invites you to join her in this gentle yet powerful therapeutic experience as you bring your authenticity and vulnerability to be bathed by sound. She will begin by cleaning the space with sound and leading you in a short mediation to ground participants and opening the healing circle. She will play crystal singing bowls in various sizes and musical notes that vibrate at different frequencies and vibrations to facilitate healing in the body and chakras. Her sound offering will be followed by a period of silence to allow for integration. After this period of silence, the circle will be closed.

About Phylis

Prior to her work in nutrition and sound work, Phylis served in the United States Navy for 24 years as an Information Systems Technician. She discovered the holistic approach to health and wellness following her own journey through traditional Western medicine’s attempts to manage her autoimmune disorder. In changing her diet and lifestyle, she was able to calm the autoimmune response and manage further flare ups. Her interest in learning how to use food as medicine drove her to earn her Master of Science in Holistic Nutrition from the American College of Healthcare Sciences in 2023.

While studying for her designation as a Board-Certified Holistic Nutritionist, she is serving on the National Association of Nutrition Professionals Annual Conference Planning Committee. Additionally, she is a certified Sound Practitioner and has volunteered her services with the Veterans Administration of Loma Linda, Women’s Health Initiative, and the Temecula Valley School District. Phylis lives in the Inland Empire of California and is a proud mom to her three children.
