Attendee FAQ

We are continuously updating our FAQs. If your question isn’t listed below, contact us or check back soon.

When will registration open, and what are the deadlines?

Early-bird registration opens on January 10, 2023. Once registration opens, the deadlines will be posted along with conference registration fees and details. To receive registration updates (and ensure you don’t miss out on any special offers), be sure to subscribe to conference emails (at the bottom of the page).

Note:  NANP Members will save $$$ during pre-registration from January 3-9, 2023, so make sure your membership is active.

When should I book my travel and hotel room?

We recommend you book your travel and hotel room as soon as possible. Limited rooms are available at the Hyatt
Regency in Bellevue, WA on a first-come, first-served basis. Rooms must be booked on or before Thursday, April 13, 2023, to receive the NANP group rate.

Attendees can receive the NANP group rate for up to three (3) days before and three (3) days after the meeting (based on availability).

I want to bring my spouse/children/pets with me. Are they able to attend the sessions and events?

Saturday dinner tickets will be available for purchase for spouses/guests. You will be able to purchase tickets for your guest during the registration process. Educational sessions are for registered attendees only. For the comfort of all of our attendees, children and pets are NOT allowed at our event. The hotel’s concierge will be able to help you arrange child care services to make your conference experience more relaxed.

How many people attend the Conference?

We anticipate 300-350 attendees.

Is there Wi-Fi access at the hotel?

Yes. There will be free Wi-Fi in your guest room.

Hotel Room Fees

The hotel is currently charging a 14.5% tax on hotel room rates.  This includes lodging and sales tax.

What should I bring?

Aside from your eagerness to learn, be sure to bring your mobile device to access our conference app, something to take notes on/with and plenty of business cards to share with vendors and other attendees.

What should I wear?

The general attire is business casual. Bring a light sweater or jacket. The meeting space may be a little cool.  If you enjoy a morning activity, sessions will be offered on Friday and Saturday mornings, so be sure to bring your workout clothes.  There is a lot to see around the hotel, so bring comfortable shoes, so you can see and explore with ease.

I want to attend, but I am not sure I can afford it. What options are available to help me save money?

We understand how expensive conferences can be given travel to the city, booking a hotel room and paying for your conference registration. At HEALCon, we try to mitigate your costs by providing five (5) delicious, nutritious meals and one fantastic welcome reception. That’s five (5) meals you won’t have to pay for or find!

If you’re a member of the association, you can log into your member dashboard and join our HEALCon Room-sharing, Carpooling & More Circle to search or post about sharing rides or hotel rooms. If you are a student, be sure to apply for a Student Scholarship.

Will there be time to visit Bellevue?

The conference schedule is packed full of events, both during the day and in the evening. HEALCon does end late morning on Sunday, so you will have time should you choose to stay in the area. If you are interested in touring Bellevue/Seattle, we recommend that you book your travel arrangements a couple of days before or after the Conference. BASED ON AVAILABILITY, the NANP negotiated group rate is valid three (3) days before and three (3) days after HEALCon.
