About Your Guides
Phylis Bushong
Prior to her work in nutrition and sound work, Phylis served in the United States Navy for 24 years. She discovered the holistic approach to health and wellness following her own journey through traditional Western medicine’s attempts to manage her autoimmune disorder. In changing her diet and lifestyle, she was able to calm her body’s autoimmune response and manage further flare ups. Her interest in applying food as medicine drove her to earn her Master of Science in Holistic Nutrition from the American College of Healthcare Sciences in 2023.
Phylis is certified as a BCHN® Candidate and RWP through Restorative Wellness Solutions. Additionally, she is a certified Sound Practitioner and has volunteered her services with the Veterans Administration of Loma Linda, Women’s Health Initiative, the Temecula Valley School District, the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency, and has worked with mental health providers in the Temecula Valley. Phylis lives in Winchester, California and is a proud mom to her three children, two cats and dog. She enjoys reading, yoga, hiking and cooking in her spare time.
