This slow style encourages and supports the connective tissues in the body.  Postures are slowly held for 3-5 minutes to encourage lengthening and stretching of the ligaments, tendons and fascia. Yin yoga naturally increases a state of relaxation by reducing tension in the body and lowers stress hormones. Added benefits include increased mobility, and circulation giving the body a fresh and new feeling.

About Your Terri Rozyla

Terri’s personal health story, innate growth mindset, and resilience propel her constant evolution in health-life leadership. Embarking twenty years ago up to the present day, she incorporates her certifications in holistic nutrition and alternative health approaches, such as meditation and yoga, for mind-body-spirit relief from chronic inflammation and pain related to Stage 3 Endometriosis and post-concussion syndrome. As a marathon runner, she explores the benefits of dietary nutritional supplementation for women’s health and how perimenopause affects endurance sports. She has acquired a homogeneous vessel of skills by combining her career, life experiences, and academic achievements, focusing on reducing stress for improved total health. Together, this combined skillset enables Terri to speak to the foundations of self-empowerment and the resources needed for functional health and life change. An active member of NANP, Terri is on the planning committee for HEALCon. Her previous contributions have allowed her to be a board member for the IAPW and the SBA – Score NJ marketing mentor.
